The Estonian Capoeira Federation (ECF) is an organization that brings together capoeira sports clubs, schools, societies, and associations.
The Estonian Capoeira Federation is the sole official representative of the capoeira sport in the Republic of Estonia.
The aim of ECF’s activities is to develop and promote capoeira as a sport, supporting a healthy and active lifestyle and contributing to the strengthening of people’s mental and physical well-being.

- Application and Re-application for Coach Certification
The EOC Capoeira Coaches Evaluation Committee announces the granting of coach certifications according to the following professional standards: Assistant Coach (EKR 3), Junior Coach (EKR 4), Coach (EKR 5), Senior Coach (EKR 6).
The deadline for submitting documents for application or re-application is 26 January 2026.
Applications are submitted through the Estonian Sports Register online portal minu.treenerikutse.ee
About us
The Federation was registered on 15 May 2000.
Since 2011, the federation has been a full member of the World Capoeira Federation.
The Estonian Capoeira Federation is a national organization that unites capoeira clubs in Estonia. The Federation is engaged in the development, promotion, and support of capoeira.
Our activities are aimed at creating a sustainable and professional community based on mutual respect, respect for the traditions of capoeira, and its modern development. The Federation contributes to the education of coaches, facilitates the exchange of experience between schools, and represents Estonia on the international stage.
Main objectives of the Federation:
- development and promotion of capoeira in Estonia;
- support of capoeira clubs’ activities;
- organization of competitions, seminars, and other events;
- improvement of coaches’ qualifications;
- representation of the Estonian capoeira community at the international level;
- preservation of the cultural heritage and traditions of capoeira.
The Estonian Capoeira Federation is open to cooperation with educational, sports, and cultural organizations.

Coaching qualification
The procedure for awarding coaching qualifications can be reviewed here (pdf).
The applicant submits the required documents via the electronic platform minu.treenerikutse.ee
Capoeira Coach Professional Exam
- To take the professional exam, the candidate submits an application to the federation’s email address capoeirafederation.est@gmail.com, indicating the desired level.
- The candidate receives a username and password for the corresponding qualification level.
- After receiving the username and password, the candidate completes the practical course and fills in the tests.
- To receive an assessment of the completed course, the invoice issued by the federation must be paid.
- After the payment is received, the candidate’s results will be assessed and, in the case of a positive result, a certificate and an assessment sheet will be issued.
The course fees:
